Service Providers Held Accountable: Service providers involved in the recruitment process are also subject to stringent penalties. They can face fines up to ₹1 crore. Additionally, if they fail to comply with the rules, they may face further penalties, including additional jail time.
Applicability to Major Recruitment Bodies: The new rules will apply to major recruitment bodies such as the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC), and Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC).
Ensuring Fairness and Transparency: The introduction of these rules is expected to significantly reduce the chances of irregularities in the recruitment process, thereby ensuring a fair and transparent selection process for government jobs.
