Cooking Competition Concludes Successfully Under the “Sense of Duty Campaign
Bargarh The Basic Safety Check Campaign launched on 5th March 2024 by Oil Marketing Companies, aimed to cover over 12 crore households through door-to-door inspections conducted by trained personnel. The inspections are free of cost for the customers for any safety hazards in LPG installations, and replacement of old hose or non-standard hose is being done at discounted price. As of now, over 8 crore households have been inspected, resulting in the replacement of approx. 3.5 crore hoses.As a part of this campaign, cooking competition under the theme “Hamari Rasoi Hamari Zimmedari” was successfully held on 1st December 2024 at Swayamasiddha Bhavan, Bargarh, Bargarh District by the Oil Marketing Companies. The event aimed to raise awareness about LPG Handling and Safety in Cooking while celebrating culinary skills.The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 15 participants showcasing their cooking talents while adhering to safe LPG handling practices. The panel of judges, including Smt. Jyoti Mittal, Food Critique, Smt. Sangeeta Agrawal, Social Activist and Visionary, and Smt. Poonam Mishra Food Critique evaluated the participants on criteria such as LPG safety, dish quality, presentation, and cleanliness.

The event concluded by 1.15 PM, leaving a lasting impact on participants and the audience about the importance of responsible LPG use in everyday cooking. Organizers thanked all participants, judges, and attendees for making the event a success and contributing to the campaign's mission of promoting safety and awareness.
