Sambalpur University Alumni Association HOPE-86 Annual Celebration

Bargarh: The annual celebration of the HOPE-86 Alumni Association of Sambalpur University was held at the university auditorium. Organized by Ashwini Padhi and Jay Prakash Satapathy, the event saw the participation of Dr. Bidhu Bhushan Mishra, the Vice-Chancellor of Sambalpur University, as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries, including Registrar Nrupraj Sahu and Controller of Examinations Prabhas Sahu, also attended the event and delivered speeches.

In his address, Dr. Mishra announced ongoing efforts to upgrade Sambalpur University to the status of a central university. He also called for the formation of a comprehensive alumni association involving students from all batches. Registrar Nrupraj Sahu emphasized the need for individuals to stay prepared for new challenges in every phase of life.

Since most students from the 1986 batch are now retired, they were encouraged to use their experiences and knowledge for the betterment of society. The alumni association commended the university administration for ensuring timely examinations and results. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of many alumni from the 1984-86 batch.
