Sanghamitra Patel Honored with "Sushri Teresa Samman"
Bargarh, 16.12.2024 (Sunday): Renowned social worker and talented personality of Western Odisha, Sanghamitra Patel, was conferred with the "Sushri Teresa Samman" by the Shubhashree Sahitya Anusthan of Sagabaria, Jagatsinghpur, Eastern Odisha. The selection was made under the guidance of Daya Nidhi Padhaan, Chairman of Bargarh Dhanu Yatra Kalakar Sangh, and was curated by editor Basanta Manjari Das.
The award ceremony was held during the 17th Annual Celebration, presided over by Pandit Nagu Charan Devata. The event was graced by Chief Guest Harihar Kanungo, Vice-Chancellor of Tiruvannamalai University, and Chief Speaker Nirupama Swain, Registrar of Madhusudan Law University. Other esteemed guests included Akashvani lyricist Basanta Kumar Das, Utkal Ranjan Mahanti, engineer Bidhan Kumar Rautray, chairman Prem Charan Raut, and Sangram Keshari Swain.
In addition to Sanghamitra Patel, eminent dancer Anjali Bhoi of Bargarh was also felicitated during the event. Their recognition brought pride and glory to the region, with several organizations of Bargarh celebrating and commending their achievements.
