Bhubaneswar Pradhan to Play Kansa in Bargarh Dhanu Yatra 2024
Bargarh, Odisha – The much-anticipated Bargarh Dhanu Yatra, renowned as the world’s largest open-air theatre festival, has announced its new Kansa for the 2024 edition. Bhubaneswar Pradhan, a seasoned artist, has been selected to portray the iconic role of the demon king Kansa. This decision came after a series of auditions conducted by the Bargarh Dhanu Yatra committee, where Pradhan’s performance stood out among three other contenders.
The Dhanu Yatra, which will take place from January 3 to 13, 2024, transforms the town of Bargarh into the ancient city of Mathura, bringing to life the mythological tales of Lord Krishna.
