Winter Clothing Distribution Held in Bargarh by the District Social Welfare Association
The District Social Welfare Association of Bargarh recently organized a program dedicated to distributing both new and old winter clothing along with other garments. The event was inaugurated by prominent social worker Mr. Shyamsunder Agrawal, whose presence added significance to the occasion.
Several notable individuals attended the event, including Mr. Bimal Kumar Das, President of the Parent Association, Mr. Hota, SI of Town Police Station, and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Meher, a responsible and active citizen. Others in attendance were Mr. Pavitra Dehri, President of the Forum for Protection of the Constitution, along with Ms. Surath Sahu and Mr. Sarathi Meher.
The program was spearheaded by Mrs. Balishtha Durga, President of the District Social Welfare Association, who played a key role in its success. Supporting her efforts were other active members of the Association, including Kirti, Deepak, Naren, Rajesh, Harsh, and Ranjan. The program also received significant contributions from Mr. Ramakant Sahu, a retired Forest Range Officer.
Additionally, students from the Free Computer Education Program extended their support, helping to ensure the smooth execution of the event. Many citizens of Bargarh, having learned about the initiative through social media, joined the cause by donating their old clothes at the venue, making the program a community-driven success.
