Report by: Kishan Lal Agrawal
Bargarh – Demonstrating compassion and solidarity, the Bargarh District Newspaper Distributors' Association has extended financial assistance to the families of newspaper distributors injured in a road accident on November 4 in the Sarkanda region. In the accident, newspaper distributors Shukru Bhuiyan and his colleague Harishchandra Barik sustained severe injuries. While Harishchandra has returned home after treatment, Shukru is still admitted to Vikas Hospital for ongoing care.
Given Shukru’s family’s precarious financial situation, the association's president, Yogendra Sahu, and co-secretary, Achyut, provided financial aid to Shukru's wife and prayed for his speedy recovery.
Considering the family’s difficulties, Shukru was shifted from Vikas Hospital to Burla for further treatment. Association members, including Ramesh Das, Jai Prakash Kumbhar, Sushil Mahanand, Sampad Kalet, and Hari Muguri, have appealed to the public to come forward and support the family during this challenging time, while also praying for Shukru’s quick recovery.
